Your first session is an opportunity to get to know each other and share what brings you to therapy. You’ll discuss your background, current challenges, and goals for treatment. This helps your therapist understand your unique needs and create a plan tailored just for you. You can also ask any questions about the process, confidentiality, fees, and scheduling. The goal is to build a comfortable, trusting space where you feel heard and supported from the start.
